ETERNO
Everything you need to know about Eterno
Download Eterno and tap Log In on the home screen. Select the Couple tab, then tap Create Account. Once your account is created you'll be guided through a simple setup — enter your names, wedding date, venue and approximate guest count. Your unique 6-digit wedding code is generated automatically and everything is saved to your account.
Every wedding on Eterno gets a unique 6-digit code. This is how your guests find your wedding in the app. You can view it in the QR Code section of your dashboard and include it on your invitations.
When a guest enters your code, they create a free account and submit their RSVP — which you then approve or decline personally. Nobody can access your wedding without your code and your approval.
Share your 6-digit code with your guests — you can include it on your physical or digital invitations. From the QR Code section on your dashboard you can download a beautiful RSVP card with the code and a QR code to share via WhatsApp, iMessage or print.
Guests download Eterno for free, enter your code, create a free account and RSVP. You'll receive a notification to approve or decline them.
Not at all. You can skip any question during setup and come back to edit your details at any time from the Account page on your dashboard. Your progress is saved automatically.
For couples: The first 30 couples to sign up get completely free access. After that, there is a 2-day free trial followed by a subscription of £9.99 per year — less than a wedding favour.
For guests: Eterno is completely free for guests. No subscription, no hidden costs, no catch.
After your 2-day trial, you'll be prompted to subscribe for £9.99/year to keep full access to your couple dashboard and all planning features. If you choose not to subscribe, your account will be paused until you do. Your data is never deleted — it will all be there waiting when you're ready to continue.
No — guests download Eterno and use it completely free. They can RSVP, view their seating assignment, see the Order of the Day, select their meal choices, get directions, view the couple's story, message the couple and request songs — all at no cost. We believe guests should never be asked to pay to attend a wedding.
Yes. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). You can cancel at any time from your device's subscription settings. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google directly through their respective app stores. If you have a question about a charge, please contact us at [email protected] and we'll do our best to help.
Download the Eterno app from the App Store or Google Play. On the home screen you'll see a section that says Received an invite? Enter your 6-digit code, create a free account and submit your RSVP. The couple will confirm your attendance and once approved, your guest dashboard will unlock.
After submitting your RSVP, the couple needs to approve it manually. This is by design — it gives couples full control over their guest list. You'll receive a notification once they've confirmed you. If you've been waiting more than a day or two, it's worth reaching out to the couple directly to let them know you've RSVP'd.
This usually happens for one of two reasons:
If the problem persists, try signing out and signing back in from the Account section. If it still doesn't work, email us at [email protected] with your name and the wedding code you used.
The couple may not have assigned seats yet — seating plans are often finalised closer to the wedding date. If the seating plan shows "not assigned yet", check back in a few days or contact the couple directly.
If you can see the seating plan but can't find your name, make sure the name you signed up with matches exactly what the couple has used in the seating plan. If there's a mismatch, you can update your name from your Account page in the app.
Yes — tap Meal Choices on your guest dashboard, change your selection and tap Update Choices. Your updated choices will be sent to the couple immediately. If the wedding is very close, it's a good idea to let the couple know directly too.
Currently each Eterno account can only be linked to one wedding as a guest at a time. Support for multiple weddings on one account is coming in a future update. In the meantime, please email us at [email protected] and we'll get you sorted manually.
Yes. Go to your dashboard and tap Account in the top right. Under Your Wedding tap Edit to update your partner names, date, venue or guest count at any time.
From your dashboard, tap Seating Plan. Set the number of tables and seats, then tap any seat to assign a guest. You can choose from your confirmed RSVP list with one tap, or type a name manually for guests not using the app. You can rename tables, add or remove tables and seats freely. When you're done, tap Export to download a beautiful shareable image of your full seating plan.
Build your timeline in the Timeline section of your dashboard. Once you're happy with it, tap Preview then Send to Guests. All your confirmed guests will receive a notification in their app letting them know the Order of the Day has been published. They can then view it from their guest dashboard.
From your dashboard tap Menu Choices. Build your menu by adding courses (Starter, Main, Dessert are pre-loaded) and the options for each course. When you're ready, tap Publish to send it to all guests. Guests will see a Meal Choices tile on their dashboard where they can select their preference for each course.
You can track responses live, send a push reminder to guests who haven't responded yet, and export all responses as a formatted PDF — perfect for sending straight to your caterer.
Yes. From your dashboard tap Messages, then tap Message All Guests. Write your message and tap send — every confirmed guest with an Eterno account will receive it as an in-app notification and it will appear in their Messages section.
Our Story lets you write a personal message about your relationship — how you met, your journey together, whatever you want to share — and add a photo of the two of you. Once saved, every guest who has been approved for your wedding will see a beautiful, keepsake-style Our Story page on their dashboard.
You can update your story or photo at any time from your couple dashboard. Only your approved guests can see it.
Absolutely. The seating planner lets you add guest names manually — so older relatives or anyone without a smartphone can still have a seat assigned. For meal choices, the couple can note their preference manually in the caterer notes. The app is designed with this in mind.
On the login screen, tap Sign In then tap Forgot Password below the password field. Enter your email address and we'll send you a reset link. Check your spam folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.
Yes. Your data is stored securely in the cloud so you can sign in on any device and everything will be exactly as you left it — your guest list, seating plan, timeline, budget and all your settings.
Yes — you can both sign in with the same email and password on separate devices and you'll both have full access to your wedding dashboard. Alternatively, one partner manages the app and shares updates with the other — many couples find this works well.
Go to Account from your dashboard, scroll down to Danger Zone and tap Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm twice. This permanently deletes your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.
If you're a couple, this will also remove all guest RSVPs and wedding data. If you're a guest, this removes your RSVP and profile only.
Yes. All data is stored encrypted on servers in the EU (Frankfurt). Eterno never shows ads, never sells your data and never shares your information with third parties except the services needed to run the app. You can read our full Privacy Policy for complete details.
Try these steps in order:
If none of the above work, email [email protected] with a description of what you see and what device you're using.
First check that notifications are enabled for Eterno in your phone's Settings. On iPhone go to Settings → Notifications → Eterno and make sure Allow Notifications is turned on. On Android go to Settings → Apps → Eterno → Notifications.
If notifications are enabled but still not arriving, try signing out and back in to re-register your device. Push notifications deep-link directly to the relevant screen — for example, a new RSVP will open your guest list, and a message will open the conversation.
