By using Eterno you agree to these terms. The app is for planning weddings — couples manage their wedding, a partner can join for free on a shared dashboard, and guests RSVP and interact through it. Couple accounts require a subscription after a 3-day free trial. We can suspend accounts that misuse the service. The app is provided as-is and we are not liable for losses arising from its use. These terms are governed by English law.
Eterno ("we", "us", "our") is a wedding planning application. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Eterno mobile application and website at eternoapp.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
The Service is operated as an independent software product. For any queries relating to these Terms, please contact us at general@eternoapp.com.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Eterno. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly permit accounts for users under 16. If we become aware that a user is under 16 we will delete their account immediately.
A couple account is used to create and manage a wedding on Eterno. When you sign up as a couple you will be asked to provide your names, wedding date, venue and expected guest count. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account.
A partner account allows the second person in a couple to access and manage the same wedding dashboard without requiring a separate subscription. The primary account holder generates a one-time 8-character partner invite code from their Account settings. The partner downloads Eterno, selects "I have a partner invite code" and creates a free account using that code. Both accounts then share full access to the same wedding dashboard. Partner accounts are free — one subscription covers both partners. The invite code is single-use and expires once redeemed.
The primary account holder is responsible for managing the subscription. If the subscription lapses, access is suspended for both the primary and partner account until renewed.
A guest account is created by entering a couple's unique 6-digit invite code. Guest accounts allow you to RSVP, view wedding day information, view the couple's story, select meal choices, request songs and message the couple. Guest accounts are free.
Vendors can submit a listing through the Eterno website to appear in the vendor directory within the app. Vendor listings are subject to a one-time listing fee. By submitting a listing you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you have the right to use any images uploaded. Eterno reserves the right to remove listings that are inaccurate, inappropriate or in breach of these Terms.
Couple accounts include a 3-day free trial from the date of first sign-up. During the trial you have full access to all couple features. At the end of the trial, continued access requires an active subscription. Partner accounts linked during the trial period share the same trial and billing cycle as the primary account.
Couple subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store depending on your device. Subscription pricing and billing frequency are displayed at the point of purchase within the app. By subscribing you authorise the relevant app store to charge the applicable fee to your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then. Refunds for subscription payments are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies. Eterno does not process subscription refunds directly.
Vendor listing fees are one-time payments processed by Stripe. These are non-refundable once a listing has been activated and is live in the app, except where required by applicable law.
You agree not to use the Service to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, at our sole discretion and without prior notice where necessary.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to Eterno — including messages, wedding details, seating plans, story text, profile photos, Our Story photos and any other images. By submitting content you grant Eterno a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and the users you have approved (for example, displaying your Our Story to your approved guests).
When you upload a photo through the Our Story feature, you confirm that you have the right to share that image and that it does not infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any person depicted or the original photographer. Our Story content is visible to all guests you have approved for your wedding.
You are solely responsible for the content you upload or transmit through the Service. You confirm that any content you provide does not infringe the intellectual property rights or privacy rights of any third party.
We do not review user content in advance and are not responsible for content posted by users. If you believe any content on the Service infringes your rights, please contact us at general@eternoapp.com.
All intellectual property in the Eterno app, website, branding and content (excluding user content) is owned by or licensed to Eterno. You may not copy, modify, distribute or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our express written permission.
The name "Eterno", the logo and associated branding are proprietary to us. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding.
The Service integrates with third-party services including Supabase, Apple App Store, Google Play, RevenueCat, Stripe, Google Maps, Google Places, OpenStreetMap/Nominatim, Expo Push Notifications and Cloudflare. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. Eterno is not responsible for the practices of these third parties.
Links to external websites or vendor listings within the app are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products or services of any third-party websites or vendors.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of any vendor listings or other content provided by third parties.
Weather information displayed in the app is sourced from third-party APIs and is provided for general guidance only. It does not constitute professional advice and should not be relied upon for event planning decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by English law, Eterno shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to Eterno in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £50 (whichever is greater).
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by English law.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Account → Delete Account). Deletion is immediate and permanent — all your data will be removed from our systems. If you have an active subscription, cancellation must be completed separately through your Apple ID or Google account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Where reasonable, we will give you prior notice. On termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may update, modify or discontinue features of the Service at any time. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice of significant changes. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of those changes.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes we will notify users through the app. Continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer based in another jurisdiction, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence that we cannot override by contract.
